Tigard Police Investigating Homicide
UPDATE: The victim in this case has been identified as Leroy Xavier Wass-Morill.
ORIGINAL RELEASE: At 9:42 p.m. on Friday,January 29th, officers received a 911 call from a
resident of the Silver Creek Apartments (11580 SW Hall Boulevard) saying he had been stabbed.
Arriving officers and medics began rendering aid to the 22-year-old victim,who was transported to a
local hospital. Sadly, their efforts were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The identity of the victim will not be released until next of kin are notified.
Tigard Police detectives are looking into several leads on possible suspects at this time. Further
updates will be released as the investigation allows.
