Your drawings on sheets 2, 3 & 4 are acceptable with the following notes and adjustments.My attached notes show the basis for the adjusted specs. 1. The joist size can be 2x10 at 16" o/c as you specified, or you could use 2x8 joists at 12" o/c. Joist spacing should be compatible with the decking manufacturer's specifications. A 12"joist spacing will give a stiffer floor than a 16" spacing. 2.The 6x8 beam on four posts,spaced as shown on your drawings,could be used rather than the 6x10 beam that you initially specified. You could also use a 4x 10 beam.. 3. An alternative beam is a 4x12 or 6x10#1DF on three supports. Space the posts 11'apart with the beam overhanging 3' on each end. 4. All fasteners should be screws or ring shank nails. Regular nails tend to back out as the wood cycles through wet and dry weather. end of file „C,r vffizr -0' f4/7_0 L. l <SP 7Ef7 t✓ I Plt/It ti 'yit; J- /6312ik( 1Ji3DR r)4ARA o 01015= rit41 `10 G 1' =z) 'v47 -1' '4i u -, ”, ciOlfPfT j A 1 1 6 x 4 yr (f)t-. rf,) T.v ( ,3fov - 2.ZZ fir'' I tkla 6 s `' e5¢-1$11.6/yam©D= 2.zyA-7- , ig''q hzr aTF 1 d "36 I dX,z 14/P ( 7) ThTivcay s (..,.._ (.....43v /i,;D,= Z•9'6,,r.. , ZI,yam, 2`571)(2 L Pa6-r- ; 4 4p: ti'6"2 /2//- 13q did I- ,c,fifra/ova : .a a/33p j- h'r !O„!v!/ =; 2sews )6d' a/e' / ©k. 1- 11 ! t =I MEMBER REPORT PASSED Deck,Floor:Joist • 1 piece(s)2 x 10 Douglas Fir-Larch No.2© 16"OC Overall Length:17 Sv •fix a J'x '*::rm3+ , '' r}• ari • + 0 146 X 26" a o All locations are measured from the outside face of left support(or left cantilever end).AU dimensions are horizontal. .Jvthia1#lncatlon mo led ,. .. the iatWt 'tr(Patten* System:Floor Member Reaction(Ibs) 437 @ 3" 1406(1.50") Passed(31%) — 1.0 D+1.0 L(Alt Spans) Member Type:Joist Building Use:Residential Shear(Ibs) 393 @ 13'3 1/4" 1665 Passed(24%) 1.00 1.0 D+1.0 L(All Spans) Building Code:IBC 2015 Moment(Ft-lbs) 1523 @ 7'2 5/6" 2029 Passed(75%) 1.00 1.0 D+1.0 L(Alt Spans) Design Methodology:ASD Live Load Del.(in) 0.293 @ 7'3 1,'6" 0.467 Passed(L/574) -- 1.0 D+1.0 L(Alt Spans) • Total Load Def.(in) 0.340 @ 7 2 15/16" 0.701 Passed(L/495) -- 1.0 D+1.0 L(Alt Spans) T3-Pro'"Rating N/A N/A N/A -- N/A • Deffeutrtm criteria:LL(1/360)and TL(1/240). •Overhang deflection criteria:LL(21/360)and TL(2U240). •Allowed moment does not reflect the adjustment for the beam stability factor. • A 15%increase in the moment capacity has been added to account for repetitive member usage. • Applicable calculations are based on NDS. • No composite action between deck and joist was considered in analysis. - 14600. 9tl -Lailasto 50P.P6rPrt u .. ; iota- o 1-Hanger on 9 1/4"DF beam 3.00" Hanger' 1.50" 65 387/-1 452/-1 See note 2-Beam-OF 5.50" 5.50" 1.50" 93 534 627 Blocking •Blaking Panels are assumed to carry no loads applied directly above them and the full load is applied to the member being designed. •At hanger supports,the Total Bearing dimension is equal to the width of the material that is supporting the hanger ••See Connector grid below for additional information and/cr requirements. y ss „w ..
