Hi Jake,
The temporary building will require a Building permit as well as a demolition permit(also the Commercial Building
Permit Application)considering the ructure will becupied for longer than six months. A separate Site Work permit
will not be required for the temporary building, as we can combine this work under the Site Work permit for the new
office building. I have attached all of the relevant applications above, and I have included information below to help
guide you through the submittal process.
New Building:
• Building permit: (3) sets of plans, (2) sets of Engineering calculations, and (1) wet stamp for the calculations. A
digital stamp may be substituted for a wet stamp. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing pages that are included
with the tenant improvement plans will be stamped reference only, and therefore cannot be used for trade
permit plans. Please refer to the Commercial Building Permit Application for the submittal requirements. Also,
the plan review fee is required to be paid prior to commencing plan review. We will send you online payment
instructions once the permit has been created.
• Site Work permit: (3) sets of plans civil plans. Please refer to the Site Work Permit Application for the permit
requirements. The plan review fee is required to be paid prior to commencing plan review.
• Site Utilities Plumbing permit: (2) sets of plans. We do not require plan review to be paid at intake.
• Mechanical permit: (2) sets of mechanical plans with (2) sets of cut sheets. We do not require plan review to be
paid at intake.
• Electrical permit: Please review the electrical permit application attached above to determine if plan review is
required. If plan review is required, we will need to receive (2) sets of plans, and we do not require a plan
review deposit at submittal. If plan review is not required, the permit can be created online by the electrical
contractor through our website: https://aca.accela.com/TIGARD/Welcome.aspx. If the contractor has not
worked in Tigard previously, we will need to add their licenses to our database before a permit can be created
online. We do not require plan review to be paid at intake.
• Building Fixtures Plumbing permit: If the building will have a 2" water service or greater, then plan review is
required. In this case, we will need to receive (2) sets of plans to review. If plan review is not required, then
please make sure to complete the Commercial Fixture Work section on the second page of the Plumbing Permit
application. We do not require plan review to be paid at intake.
Temporary Building:
• Building permit: (3) sets of plans, (2) sets of Engineering calculations, and (1)wet stamp for the calculations. A
digital stamp may be substituted for a wet stamp. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing pages that are included
with the tenant improvement plans will be stamped reference only, and therefore cannot be used for trade
permit plans. Please refer to the Commercial Building Permit Application for the submittal requirements. Also,
the plan review fee will be required to be paid prior to commencing plan review. We will send you online
payment instructions once the permit has been created.
1
• Demolition permit: (2) sets of a site plan showing the footprint of the building with the square footage listed,
erosion control fencing, tree protection, and pedestrian protection if applicable.

foundation, or if there will be public access to the trailer, such as a sales trailer, then the following permits are
required)
• Commercial Manufactured Structure permit: For the placement of the sales trailer. See page 2 of the
application for the items required at submittal. We do not require plan review to be paid at intake.
• Building permit: For the accessibility ramps, covered porch, patio, windows and any other modifications made
to the sales trailer. See pages 3 and 4 of the application for the items required at submittal. The plan review fee
is required to be paid prior to commencing plan review.
• Mechanical permit: For installation of furnace,A/C, and any other mechanical items. Provide (2) copies of
equipment cut sheets at submittal.
• Plumbing permit application: For building fixtures and sanitary sewer line work. The plumbing permit
application will also generate a sewer connection permit and SDC fee of$5,685.00. When the sales trailer is
removed, this sewer connection will be used for the new residential structure on the lot and the SDC fee will be
credited. No plans required.
If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Hi,
We're currently under review for land use adjustment and minor modification for a new building at Crescent Grove
Cemetery at 9925 SW Greenburg Rd. We plan to have a temporary building in place during construction to serve the
cemetery staff. See attached site plan and narrative. Can you direct me to any separate applications this will require, or
will this be a part of the building permit application?
Thanks,
J.

Understood—The wheels will be removed in order to set the building 30" above grade which makes our ADA ramp a
standard module from the provider.Thanks!

Jake,
Thank you for clarifying. The plans we received depicts the manufactured structure with wheels, which is why I called to
clarify. If the wheels remained, then permits would not be required. Thank you for confirming that the structure will be
anchored to a foundation.
Thanks,
