MEMBERS PRESENT: Joe Schweitz, Tom Sullivan, Jim Dusevoir, Marty Noll, '
John Etzel, and Nancy Newcomb
OTHERS PRESENT: John Schwartz and Randy Wooley
1 . Joe noted that Hummel was not on the committee, and his name should be
taken off the member' s list. Randy is to notify secretary . Asked for
thoughts on committee structure (to be :discussed at next meeting) .
2. Minutes . Committee made minor changes on minutes of June 18, 1987 meeting
and approved them as changed .
3. Bike Paths . Joe recommended creation of a sub-committee (by volunteers)
to work with Park committee. Randy to notify park committee of the idea.
Randy passed out: handouts on bike path projects and discussed bike path
funding and ranking.
4. TPU Status. Handout passed out on phase two. No build -alternative.
Handout passed out on MSTIP (update) .
5. CTP/LID. Handout on Dartmouth Street LID x`40. Council to vote on
September 14 on the 135th LID improvement.
6. Highway Projects . Handout on ODOT delays . Randy informed group that bids
are being taken on Scholls/Old Scholls project.
7. ODOT Meeting. Announced ODOT public meeting on September 21 .
8 . Other Business .
a. Discussed update or transportation plan. More discussion next
meeting.
b. Tom Sullivan mentioned signal at 99W and Walnut seems to take too
long. Nancy Newcomb said all 99W Is,-,-6nals should be timed and if
there still is a problem, to contac '`Highway -par-JQme-qt.

10. Next meeting set for October 8, 1987. Randy to notify group of any
