Hello Paul, shall be on job site.
Radon mitigation permits are reviewed under the 2017 Oregon Residential Specialty Code (see attached)
and require a building permit. At the City of Tigard,we will create a combination or'master' permit that
encompasses both building and mechanical work, and we require the following items for submittal:
• Completed residential building permit application and (2) copies of a 'floor' plan (not elevation
plans)showing the location and type of system to be installed.
• Completed mechanical permit application and (2)sets of cut sheets for the mechanical
equipment(exhaust fan) to be installed.
• If needed for the fan, an electrical permit can be obtained through our online permit system by
a licensed electrician, or it can be submitted along with the building and mechanical permits to
be incorporated into the master permit.
Permit fees are based on the total project valuation of the work, the mechanical devices installed and
electrical branch circuits (see attached applications).
Applications and plans can be submitted in person Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are
closed on Fridays, and will be closed on 1/1/2020 for the holiday. We do not accept applications/plans
to be submitted electronically at this time.
