Regarding furnace installation inside of roof truss diaphram: CITY Cr- TIGARD
BUILDING DIVISION
A platform built on top of the bottom chord of roof trusses shall be built in areas
indicated on truss engineering page (C3 FAU). Each truss is designed to support an
additional load of 150#.
Platform to be built over enough trusses to support the weight of furnace unit
and platform. (IE: 150# x3 = 450# )
I hope this clears up any question.
