Dan,
I have attached a copy of our Safety Data Sheet for the product that is proposed for the storage tank. If I can help
answer any questions, please just let me know.
We have provided extra safety features on this tank:
-Active recirculative cooling
-Flame arrestor and pressure relief
-Monitoring of oxygen content
-Ability to add TBC inhibitor at will
As well as the safety features that are already present on the tank:
-Insulation
-Monitoring in the secondary containment for leaks
-UL-142 listing.
I would be happy to talk you through the proposed storage process,
Thanks,
Matt Durbin, EHS Manager

at least 20 minutes. Hold delid5;8peh,tallnsllte adequate flushing.Seek medical attention. If
easy to do,remove contact lenses.:.. :.: :.' : :
Skin Contact: Wash contaminated areas ethoroughly with mild soap and water or waterless
hand cleanser. Obtain medical attention if irritation or redness develops. Remove
contaminated clothing and wash before re-use;contaminated leather (especially shoes) must
be discarded. Obtain medical attention if irritation or redness develops.
Ingestion: Unlikely route of overexposure. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Do not give liquids.
Obtain immediate medical attention. If spontaneous vomiting occurs, lean victim forward to
reduce the risk of aspiration. Monitor for breathing difficulties. Small amounts of material that
enter the mouth should be rinsed out until the taste is dissipated.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, provide artificial respiration. If
necessary, provide additional oxygen once breathing is restored if trained to do so. Seek
medical attention immediately.
General: Seek medical attention for further treatment, observation, and support after first aid.
Important Symptoms and Effects:
Eye Contact: Exposure to vapor may cause watering and irritation of eyes. Causes serious
eye irritation. Direct contact may result in corneal injury. Lacrimation.
Skin Contact: Irritating to skin. Symptoms of skin exposure include: irritation, redness, blistering
and itching.
Ingestion: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Swallowing the liquid may cause
aspiration into the lungs with the risk of chemical pneumonitis.
Inhalation: Harmful if inhaled.

Fire and Explosion Hazard°s:.
This material is flammable and can be easily ignited by heat, sparks, flames, and static
electricity. Move containers:tornfir%ttep'if 066siDf$ Use water to keep fire exposed containers
or equipment cool. Avoid spreacLng:awrrk? k1r 1c vTith water used for cooling purposes.
Exposure to decomposition pfociucTs may be e hazard to health. Vapours may be ignited
rapidly when exposed to heat, spark, open flame, or other source of ignition. When mixed with
air and exposed to an ignition source, flammable vapors can burn in the open and potentially
explode in confined spaces. A portion of the vapors may travel long distances to an ignition
source and flash back.
Fire Fighting Instructions:
Small fires in the incipient stage may typically be extinguished using handheld portable fire
extinguishers and other firefighting equipment. Firefighting activities that may result in potential
exposure to high heat, smoke, or toxic by-products of combustion should require NIOSH/MSHA-
approved pressure-demand self-contained breathing apparatus with full face-piece and full
protective clothing. Isolate area around container involved in fire. Cool tanks, shells, and
containers exposed to fire and excessive heat with water. For large fires, the use of unmanned
hose holders or monitor nozzles may be advantageous to further minimize personnel exposure.
Large fires may require withdrawal, allowing the tank to burn. Large storage tank fires typically
require specially trained personnel and equipment to extinguish the fire, often including the
need for properly applied firefighting foam. Refer to Guide 128P in the Emergency Response
Guidebook for proper emergency response.
6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Wear appropriate personal protection during cleanup, such as chemical splash goggles, full-
face air-purifying respirator with organic vapor cartridges (or more protective respiratory
protection) , impervious gloves (supported polyvinyl alcohol), boots, and chemical protective
clothing such as of DuPont TyChem®, Saranex or equivalent. Shut off all sources of ignition and
consider downwind evacuation. Carefully contain and stop the source of the spill, if safe to do
so.The use of firefighting foam may be used in certain situations to reduce vapors.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow the material if spilled to enter water ways. The material is insoluble in water. Do not flush
down sewer or drainage systems, unless system is designed and permitted to handle such material.
Methods and materials for containment and cleanina up:
Contain and collect spillage with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth,
diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and place in container for disposal. Wash and ventilate the
area after the material has been removed.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling Precautions: Remove or control ignition sources from the immediate vicinity of the product.
No smoking near areas where material is stored or handled.
Storaae Precautions: Store in a secure, cool, dry place, in tightly closed containers, away from
incompatible constituents (oxidizing agents) and sources of ignition. The mixture should not
polymerize due to the addition of TBC inhibitor; however, extreme temperatures, lack of
oxygen, or degradation of the inhibitor may lead to polymerization. When possible, store the
