building permit is required when structural changes are made or the space sheathing is
removed or replaced.
SUBMIT TWO (2) SETS OF PLANS SPECIFYING:
A. Roof area and nearest street.
B. Attic vents: Provide 1 sq. ft. for each 150 sq. ft. of attic space. Vents shall be
located in the upper 1/3 of the roof. Provide 1 sq. ft. for each 300 sq. ft. when
eave and attic venting is provided.
Note: No permit is required for residential re-roof if not more than two (2) layers of
roofing will exist upon completion of the re-roofing.

services .We trust the attached proposal will address your roofing needs at the above subject
facility for the Long Term.
In Summary,
We are proposing to cut the existing PVC membrane at the fasteners and remove it, then install
a layer of 1.5" Iso-cyanurate insulation and then install a 60 mil TPO GAF/Johns Manville
Mechanically Attached Roof System and new roof related metals as requested.
This roof system will have a 20 year Labor and Materials leak free warranty and a 72mph
warranty.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Conduct a pre—job conference to discuss safety and job site logistics.
• Secure necessary permits required for the project.
• Remove and dispose of all existing sheet metal.
• Cut the existing PVC at the fasteners then remove and dispose of properly.
• Replace damaged/wet insulation at a cost of$2.40 per Sq. Ft.)
• Provide and install taper crickets at existing unit locations where required.
• Provide and install 1.5" Iso-cyanurate insulation mechanically attached per the
manufacturer's specifications.
• Furnish and install 60 MIL MECHANICALLY ATTACHED TPO ROOFING
SYSTEM as per the manufacturer's specifications and local code approvals.(8' wide
sheet fastened 12" on center)
• Heat-weld all seams according to Manufactures specifications.
• Check all seams to insure proper welds.
• Provide and install all new flashings to all round pipes and stacks.
• Provide and install all new projection flashings to all HVAC and vent units in
accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
• Provide and install all new perimeter flashings to all perimeter walls wrapping all walls
in their entirety to accept new metal edge detail and in accordance with manufacturer
specifications.
• Provide and install all new metal edges/copings, and 24 gauge counter flashings
required for the proper application of the roof system per manufacturer specifications.
• Provide and install 150 linear feet of new walk pads.
• Remove and dispose of all debris related to the roofing project.
• Provide a post job walk-thru and inspection addressing any punch list items.
• Upon completion and inspection by an authorized technical representative, furnish a
manufacture's20-year Labor and Materials Warranty.

Allowances/Clarifications
Owner is responsible for all gas,electrical and mechanical disconnects and reconnects as required for the proper
installation of a new roof.
Deck replacement is at$7.00 per sq.ft. Overlay is at$4.00 per sq.ft.
Our Time and Material rates are at$85.00 per hour and+ 15%on Materials
This proposal does not include any of the removal of any hazardous materials.
This project will be installed by an open shop contractor.
This proposal is subject to change after March 28th 2020
